About us
The House of Vaasini
Deeply rooted within the ancient princely states of Rajasthan, the House of Vaasini serves as a living conservatory for India’s most breathtaking textile treasures. Our journey begins not in commercial factories, but across historical weaver clusters in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and the remote desert outposts of Mewar, where generational artisans keep the true essence of royal attire alive.
Every dynamic drape, crisp handloom crease, and opulent flash of real metallic tinsel thread represents an unwavering commitment to authenticity. We reject mass production entirely, honoring the slow, meditative rhythm of original handweaving. By choosing Vaasini, you wear a continuous, unbroken legacy of artistic royalty re-imagined gracefully for the luxury requirements of the modern era.
Our Artisanal OdysseyGenerational Mastery & Techniques
The Precision of Sanganeri Block-Printing
The historical craft of Sanganeri block-printing requires a masterful synchronization of hand, eye, and rhythmic breathing. Teak wood blocks are meticulously carved by hand with microscopic precision to form intricate botanical structures and classical royal configurations.
The artisan firmly presses the custom block into a precise velvet tray layered with organic dye formulations before precisely alignment-striking the block against stretched linen or silk base cloths. This exact stamping loop is repeated thousands of times across a single saree or lehenga, resulting in beautiful organic variations that commercial machine prints can never duplicate.
- 100% hand-carved season-aged teak blocks
- Natural plant-based extraction dyes
- Sun-bleached organic river-washed base fibers
The Royal Splendor of Gota Patti Applique
Born directly within the royal Mughal and Rajput ateliers, Gota Patti is an elite handcraft technique where gold and silver ribbon borders are cut, folded into delicate leaf-like structures (Patti), and sewn onto fine georgette or silk fabrics.
The master embroiderer carefully flattens the premium metallic ribbons, frames the precise outline layout using custom fine thread work, and hand-embroiders the motifs to achieve a stunning three-dimensional relief surface. The finished product captures light magnificently, projecting an unmatched glow that mirrors the heritage jewelry work of the region.
- Genuine metallic ribbon trimmings (Lappe ka Kaam)
- Hand-guided fine thread framing accents
- Exclusively built on premium silk, chiffon, and chanderi backings

Episode I: Echoes of the Amber Court
High atop the rugged crags outside Jaipur stands Amber Fort—a profound structural testament to cross-cultural artistic alignment. The complex frescoed plasterwork and intricate geometric mirror tiles inside the Sheesh Mahal served as the core design muse for Vaasini’s festive collection line.
We mirrored the symmetric floral grids from the court walls directly into our hand-carved printing blocks, ensuring that every garment carries the structural grandeur, balance, and palace-gardens romance of the capital city's golden golden age.
Episode II: The Thar’s Silent Song
The vast, silent stretch of the golden desert holds stories of nomadic musicians, master craftsmen, and legendary resilience. To endure the harsh, unchanging sun, desert communities relied on stunning bursts of wearable color to identify lineages and state celebrations.
Vaasini honors this historic defiance against the void of sand by using pure organic indigo extracts and deep, natural crimson madder roots. The resulting textiles are deeply saturated, colorfast luxury items built to handle a lifetime of celebrations while remaining totally clean for the environment.
